Well hello everybody how are we all doing?
These certainly are strange times we are living in aren’t they. I hope that you are all coping and that you are managing to deal with the lockdown and life with Covid 19. What are you all doing to get through this time? I am still trying to take photographs while my wife is working from home and snapping in her break times. You can often find me sneaking around our small garden like a big game hunter trying to shoot all manner of bugs and flowers. With my camera of course, no animals were harmed in the making of any of our art. I am also trying to take photographs when we go on our exercise walks, and have, if I am honest, been enjoying the challenge of finding new things to take images of when the route is pretty much the same every time we go out. Luckily as I have said before we are only a 5 minute walk away from the park, and I am getting to know it very well indeed. I don’t think I would have noticed all the subtle changes that have occurred in the garden and in the park since the beginning of lockdown. If we had not had this time to slow down and take in the surroundings around us. As the blossom comes to an end and falls from the trees, then new flowers raise their heads and new plants and trees take over. Now I know this isn’t anything new and it’s not news worthy, but that hour walk around the park is a little bit of sanity when everything else seems to be going mad. Oh and don’t forget the 2 hours queuing now to get the weekly shop. I haven’t took my camera to this yet but as lockdown goes on never say never. I will leave it at that, I just wanted to touch base so to speak. Stay safe, stay home, protect the NHS and all the other key services.
