Earlier in the year my gorgeous, long suffering wife and muse posed once more for an impromptu photo shoot.
The theme was HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR 50's Style. I wanted to try and create the atmosphere and feel of those old style photos of the stars. Many of these photos would have been taken by the big film studios either before or after the star had been filming. The same lighting used for the production would be used for the photos. Generally a Fresnel spotlight, it produced quite a harsh directional quality of lighting, that you would associate with the black and white films and images of this period. In most cases, a corner of the lot where the film was being made was used, possibly with a few props. In this instance I used some small continuous LED lights to try and replicate the directional light quality. Many thanks again to my lovely wife for being such a good sport.
